Suzanne Duni Briggs JD, RN, BSN, CPHRM

Suzanne Duni-Briggs is a Nurse-Attorney who joined Lifespan Risk Services as their Loss Prevention Program Manager in 2008 and was promoted to Director, Loss Prevention in 2014. After seventeen years working in critical care as a registered nurse, Ms. Duni-Briggs attended Suffolk University Law School, concentrating in Health and Biomedical Law. Before joining Lifespan, she worked for the law firm of Duggan & Caccavaro in Boston, specializing in construction, medical malpractice, and insurance defense litigation.

At Lifespan, Ms. Duni-Briggs directs a robust collection of programs that are intended to mitigate and prevent risk-related events before they occur, including administration of a 1.25 million dollar risk management grant program and APOLLO, a physician peer support program for defendant physicians. In addition, Ms. Duni-Briggs manages malpractice claims brought against Lifespan clinical staff and provides risk-focused presentations for over 40 clinical provider groups per year.
