Susanne Matthiesen BA, MBA

Susanne Matthiesen, managing director of the Aging Services accreditation area, supervises the area's operations and staff and provides leadership for developing standards and improvements in the accreditation processes. Susanne joined the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) in 2001, two years before CARF acquired the nation's only accreditor of continuing care retirement communities. She earned a master’s degree in business administration focused on long-term care administration from The George Washington University.
