Susanne Halken MD

Dr. Halken is currently Consultant Pediatric Allergologist at Department of Pediatrics, Odense University Hospital, responsible for investigation and treatment of asthma and allergy in children. Associate Professor at University of Southern Denmark 1999 – 2013.Professor in Paediatric Allergology at University of Southern Denmark from May 1st 2013. She has received MD degree from Odense University, January 1978. Pediatrician since March 06, 1989. She is Certified ”European Pediatric Allergist” 12.06.2007, and a corresponding Danish certification in “Pediatric Allergology” January 2012. Her research interest are Paediatric allergology especially development of allergic diseases, risk factors and prevention, food allergy and asthma.
