Susannah Leaver PhD, MRCP

Susannah Leaver trained in medicine at the University of London (St Batholomew's Hospital) (1998) She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) (2001) and completed her PhD thesis in 2011 looking into the inflammatory response to sepsis. She has been an ICU consultant at St George’s Hospital since 2013. In addition to intensive care medicine, she trained in respiratory and general medicine and maintains a broad interest in the interface between these specialties, in particular, long term / domiciliary ventilation. Her research interests include sepsis and respiratory failure.
