Susannah Ahern

Dr Susannah Ahern is the Executive Director Medical Services, Quality and Clinical Governance of Peninsula Health. She has a medical degree from the University of Melbourne, a Masters of Business Administration from Monash University, Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA), and is currently undertaking a PhD with the University of Melbourne. Dr Ahern has worked for 15 years in medical management roles within Victoria including as Director Medical Services Alfred Health and Medical Director of the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV).

She has been on a number of advisory committees of the Victorian Department of Health, has been a PMCV Accreditation Subcommittee member and accreditation surveyor since 2008, and is an honorary Fellow of the University of Melbourne. Dr Ahern has held board positions with the Australian Centre for Health Innovation, associated with Alfred Health, and with the Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Education Councils.
