Susanna Talarico BSc, BEd, MD, FRCPC, MScCH

Dr. Susanna Talarico is an assistant professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto, a pediatrician at The Hospital for Sick Children, and the Faculty Lead for Faculty Development in the MD Program. Dr. Talarico is a passionate pediatrician and medical educator who started her career as a high school math teacher. She continues to be involved in all levels of medical education. In her first ten years of practice, Dr. Talarico has received awards for teaching excellence at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and for excellence and achievement in faculty development. She is the former associate director for the Portfolio component of the MD Program at the University of Toronto, where she was involved in implementing progress review meetings with coaching for over 1000 students.
