Dr. Susana Gonzalez is board certified in gastroenterology and internal medicine. She received her B.A. from the University of Chicago, during which time she was honored as a National Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar and was awarded a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship.
After receiving her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School, she completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center where she also served as Chief Gastroenterology Fellow. She then completed an additional fellowship in Interventional Endoscopy also at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. She then served as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital before accepting a position at Gotham Medical Associates.
