Susan L. Greenspan BA, MD

Susan Greenspan, MD, is an internationally respected osteoporosis researcher whose specialties are the effects of osteoporosis in elderly women, and the creation of new techniques to assess bone density and rate of bone loss.
At UPMC she is director of the Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Center and the Bone Health Program, and associate program director of our General Clinical Research Centers (GCRC). Dr. Greenspan is very interested in educating the community and other physicians about osteoporosis.
