Susan Elaine Pories MD, FACS

Susan Pories, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Harvard Medical School and the Chief of Breast Surgery and Medical Director of The Hoffman Breast Center at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She is the Chair of the American College of Surgeons Women in Surgery Committee and a Past President of the Association of Women Surgeons.

Dr. Pories is also the Vice-President for Mount Auburn Hospital Medical Staff and the Associate Co-Director of the Arts & Humanities Initiative at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Pories went to medical school and completed her surgical residency at the University of Vermont. She completed a surgical oncology research fellowship at the New England Deaconess Hospital and a Medical Education Fellowship at Mount Auburn Hospital, Harvard Medical School. She specializes in the management of complex breast cancers.
