Dr. Aiello is an award-winning writing instructor and professional, BELS-Certified editor who has nearly 30 years of experience in medical publishing. She has extensive teaching experience in training health writers, including ESL authors—those who are writing in English as a second language. She has made multiple appearances on national television and radio. In addition to her medical background, she has studied journalism and publication management and is a board-certified editor in the life sciences. Her editorial and training style encourages collaborative book development. She is a former Editor-in-Chief of The Merck Veterinary Manual and has edited numerous other professional medical reference works and trade nonfiction health books.
