Susan Bonkemeyer Millan MD, FAAFP

Dr. Millan graduated from Florida State University with an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida. She completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Greenville Hospital System in Greenville South Carolina. She completed specialized coursework in problem wound management and hyperbaric medicine at the Healogics Training Facility in Jacksonville, Florida. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a Fellow of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing. She is board certified in Family Medicine and is certified in Wound Care by the Council on Medical Education Testing. Dr. Millan has extensive experience in family medicine, but she has always had strong clinical interests in skin procedures and healing. She currently practices wound healing and hyperbaric medicine at the UF Health Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center at Magnolia Parke.
