Surabhi Choudhary MD, FRCR

Dr. Surabhi Choudhary is a specialist consultant musculoskeletal radiologist at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust. Following primary medical qualification from India, she has trained in Radiology in the UK, with specialist training in musculoskeletal radiology at Oxford and Oswestry. Special interests include imaging of joint diseases including sport-related injuries of the knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist with MRI, Ultrasound and CT scan. Also specializes in imaging-guided percutaneous treatment of joint and tendon diseases.

She has active ongoing research and teaching interest. Surabhi is a member of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists and the Royal College of Radiologists. One of the key areas of Dr. Choudhary’s interest is in problems of knee cap dislocation. Dr. Chaoudhary, along with Mr. Ashraf has developed the regional protocol for Imaging patients with this type of problem.
