Sunil Mathew MD

Dr. Sunil Thomas Mathew, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the State University of New York at Stony Brook and Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Northport and served his last year as chief resident. Dr. Mathew then completed two fellowships at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and Veterans Affairs Medical Center– the first for cardiovascular and the second for Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.

Dr. Mathew is licensed in Oklahoma, Washington, and New York. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Society of Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Heart Association.

His research interests are Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, Electrophysiology, Internal Medicine, Atrial Fibrillation, Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Diabetic Heart Disease, Heart Failure, and Pulmonary Hypertension.
