Sunhee Hong PhD

SunHee is an experienced phylogeneticist. She was part of a team that recently discovered a novel bacterial strain, Taeseokella kangwonensis, from a freshwater reservoir in South Korea. She also completed a one-month sabbatical in May 2017 at the Korea Polar Research Institute, where she learned about latest next-gen sequencing methods.
