Dr. Suneel Chilukuri specializes in the surgical treatment of skin cancer and the subsequent reconstructive plastic surgery. Dr. Chilukuri is fellowship-trained in advanced dermatologic surgery and Mohs micrographic surgery. Raised in Bellaire, Dr. Chilukuri is a graduate of St.
John's School. He graduated with honors from Rice University and continued to excel at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Chilukuri trained in general surgery at the University of California at Los Angeles. He returned to Houston to study dermatology at the Baylor College of Medicine. During residency, Dr. Chilukuri was chosen to serve as the chief resident in Dermatology and was awarded the Resident Teaching Award. Following residency, Dr. Chilukuri traveled to Yale University School of Medicine to complete a fellowship in Mohs
micrographic surgery, cutaneous oncology, and laser and reconstructive surgery. He also served as a clinical instructor at Yale University. For five years, he taught surgical dermatology and reconstructive surgery at both Columbia University School of Medicine and Albert Einstein Medical while also operating in his private practice offices.
