Sunando Roy PhD

Sunando Roy is currently working at the University College of London as a bioinformatics Research Associate. For the last 2 years, he has been leading the SARS-CoV-2 bioinformatics at UCL as part of COG-UK and now for UKHSA. I have a background in both experimental and theoretical biology. I have worked on multiple projects that have led to 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals. I would like to utilize the skills I picked up in research and apply them to real-life problems related to public health. I think my unique background in life sciences and quantitative data analysis is a good fit for industries dealing with big data analytics in life sciences.
