Dr. Suko Adiarto, MD completed his medical study at the Faculty of Medicine at Universitas Indonesia in 1997. Afterward, he took a specialization in cardiology in the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at Universitas Indonesia. He got his Ph.D. degree from the Cardiovascular and Respiratory Medicine division, at the Department of Internal Medicine from Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan.
To improve his abilities and competencies, he attended a Cardiology Interventional fellowship at Pusat Jantung Nasional Harapan Kita. He also took a course on the Peripheral Vascular and Aortic Intervention subject at Busan National University Hospital in South Korea. Later, he became a professional consultant in vascular medicine.
He took part in different courses in the vascular subspecialty. Some of them include a short course in Peripheral Artery disease in Singapore, a course in Advanced Aortic disease in Thailand, and a short course in Aortic Intervention in China and Thailand.
Suko Adiarto, MD is currently a medical staff of the Department of Cardiology and Vascular Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Universitas Indonesia – Harapan Kita National Heart Center.
He is active in several professional organizations, such as IDI (Indonesian Doctors Association), PERKI (Indonesian Cardiovascular Specialist Doctors Association), PIKI (Indonesian Cardiovascular Intervention Association), and ICA (International College of Angiology).
Suko Adiarto, MD has a particular interest in vascular subjects. He has published a number of scientific publications in several journals, such as the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology journal, the International Journal of Angiology, and the Life Sciences journal.
