Dr Sujit Prabhu is a Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at UT MD Anderson Cancer Center and an Adjunct Professor at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board certified with the American Board of Neurological Surgeons (ABNS). He is a very active clinically and has published at least 75 articles in peer-reviewed journals. His clinical interests are in the use of multimodality intraoperative monitoring techniques for the resection of brain tumours.

He has extensive experience with the use of the intraoperative MRI (iMRI) as a tool for the maximal safe resection of brain tumours. He has published extensively on this subject and has advanced electrophysiological techniques in iMRI for tumour resection. He has been an invited speaker at numerous national and international conferences. He is a Fellow of the American Associations of Neurological Surgeons (FAANS) and is an active member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the Society of Neuro-Oncology (SNO).
