Sujit Iyer MD

Dr. Sujit Iyer is an associate professor in Pediatrics, fellowship director, practicing pediatric emergency medicine physician, and national director of pediatrics for US Acute Care Solutions. Dr. Iyer graduated from Baylor College of Medicine and completed pediatrics and chief residency at Texas Children’s Hospital followed by a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. His academic and professional interests have included the creation of one of the largest pediatric emergency medicine fellowships in the nation, leading and implementing regional and national projects to improve pediatric readiness across the nation, as well as develop training modules and focused education to develop pediatric champions in the community ED setting.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas, his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, and a certificate in epidemiology and statistics from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed an internship, residency, and chief residency in pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital. He was a fellow in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
