Sue Kagel RN, BSN, HNB-BC, CHTP/I

Canyon Ranch may not have offered Healing Touch services if it were not for Sue Kagel. Certified in holistic nursing, Sue brought Healing Touch to Canyon Ranch in 1996 and has shared her talent with thousands of guests ever since.

Sue is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee College of Nursing and has been practicing nursing for over 30 years. She exercises a holistic and integrative approach to wellness, assisting guests in healing issues related to body, mind, emotions, and spirit. She has completed and maintained certifications in Healing Touch for over 20 years as a practitioner and instructor.

Sue has taught and presented Healing Touch nationally and internationally. She is an adjunct faculty member of Andrew Weil’s program at the Arizona Center of Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona, teaching Healing Touch and energy therapy. She is also co-author of an NIH research grant using Healing Touch in the NICU with stressed neonates, conducted at the University of Arizona. Sue is Past President of Healing Touch International and co-author of Healing Touch Advancing Life through Energy Therapy (2014).
