Sudhakar Vadde PhD, MSc

Sudhakar Reddy received an M.Sc. Genetics from Osmania University in 2008 and PhD in biochemistry from Osmania University in 2015. Sudhakar Reddy did postdoctoral research at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital & Medical Center (CCHMC) in the area of Cystic Fibrosis for a short span. Then, he joined the National Institute of Nutrition in November 2016 as a Scientist-B. His research interests include maternal protein restriction, vitamin B12, and understanding the impact of dietary factors and functional foods on metabolic disorders such as diabetes and obesity, Besides, he also works on understanding the role of chaperones, and protein quality control in diabetes and obesity. Sudhakar Reddy was awarded JRFs from ICMR, UGC, and National-PDF, DR. D.S. Kotari-PDF, and PDFs from CCHMC.
