S. Sudha Rani PhD

Dr. Sudha is offering courses on General Microbiology and Immunology for PG Students. She has around 30 research publications with an H index of 14. Her area of research is on assessing the role of ER stress, UPR, and Autophagy pathways in the pathogenesis of degenerative diseases like T2DM, Parkinson’s disease, etc. along with evaluation of the therapeutic potential of plant compounds and nanoparticles using in vitro and in vivo disease models. Her previous work experiences in VCRC Pondicherry, Dept. of Biotechnology, Pondicherry University, Molecular Connections & Bio-based Databases Pvt Ltd., Bangalore have empowered me to enhance her teaching and research skills.
