Dr. Subir Nag. MD, FACR, FACR0, did his pre-medical studies at St. John's Institution in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, graduating as the Best Student in Malaysia and the Best Athlete of the Institution in 1969. He then moved to India for his medical education at the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi. He received his medical degree and the Gold Medal for being the Best Graduate in 1976, as well as being the Best Athlete every year. He received his residency training in Radiation Oncology from 1977 to 1980 at Montefiore Hospital in New York. From 1980 to 1981, he did a fellowship in Brachytherapy under the mentorship of Dr. Basil Hilaris at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiation Oncology. Dr. Nag has served as Chief of Radiation Oncology at the University of Tennessee at Memphis, Clinical Director of Radiation Oncology at Vanderbilt University, and the Chief of Brachytherapy and Professor of Clinical Radiation Medicine at the Ohio State University. He has directed Brachytherapy Services for Northern CaliforniaKaiser Permanente since September 2006.
