Dr. Subhashini Ayloo MD, MPH, FACS, is the chief of hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery at Rhode Island Hospital and an associate professor of surgery at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Dr. Ayloo received her medical degree and completed her residency at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. She completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the Upstate Medical University of SUNY and a second fellowship in liver transplantation and hepatopancreatic biliary surgery at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Dr. Ayloo specializes in hepato pancreatic biliary (HPB) surgery, surgical oncology, liver transplantation, and general surgery. Her clinical and research interests include liver transplantation and minimally invasive robotic approaches to complex HPB cancers in morbidly obese patients. Dr. Ayloo serves in several national and international societies including the American College of Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgery, the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, and the Americas Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association.
