Stuart Alan Green is a Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of California. He is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He completed his Doctor of Medicine at the New York Medical College. Dr Green is an orthopaedic surgeon whose subspecialty interest deals with post-trauma limb reconstruction including non-unions, malunions, and shortening and post-trauma infections of bones and joints. His educational background includes not only a residency in orthopaedic surgery but also a fellowship in infectious diseases. During the past 25 years, Dr Green has lectured and published extensively on matters dealing with his area of expertise. He was the first American to visit Dr G.A. Ilizarov in Kurgan, Russia and was instrumental in introducing the Ilizarov method of reconstructive surgery to the world's orthopaedic surgeons.
