Stuart completed his Medical School at University of Southern California and Pediatric Internship, Junior Residency, Senior Residency and then Chief Resident at LAC-USC Medical Center. He completed Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and Diabetes Fellowship at Joslin Clinic and Harvard Medical School. Then joined Joslin Clinic staff as first-ever pediatric diabetologist. He Subsequently opened up private practice at NEDEC (New England Diabetes & Endocrinology Center) first in Chestnut Hill and then in Waltham office.
He Participated as a co-investigator and helped write the protocol for the DCCT. He is Active with diabetes, growth hormone, thyroid, adrenal, gonadal, vitamin D and pituitary hormone problems as well as lipid problems. He Treat hormone problems associated with Turner and Noonan Syndrome, Kallman and Klinefelter Syndrome, Down Syndrome and other disorders. He Lecture nationally and internationally 4-6x/year and have written textbook chapters on many of these.
