Stijn Verhulst MD, MSc, PhD

Prof. Stijn Verhulst, MD, PhD is professor in pediatrics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium and head of the department of pediatrics at the Antwerp University Hospital. He is a Pediatric Pulmonologist and Sleep Specialist and also director of the Antwerp Cystic Fibrosis Center. His research mainly focuses on the complications and management of sleep-disordered breathing in children. He was co-chair of a European Respiratory Society Task force on obstructive sleep apnea in children. More recently, he started several new research projects in non-invasive ventilation, BPD and cystic fibrosis. He is author or co-author of more than 100 papers and book chapters in national and international journals.
