Dr. Cameron has practiced medicine for 37 years in BC, New Zealand and at the Dalhousie Department of Family Medicine. He earned a Masters Degree in Medical Education in 2008 and was designated an IMEX Scholar in 2015. He has published and presented widely on Health Information Technology, Medical Cannabinoids and Medical Faculty Development. In 2017 he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award in Family Medicine Research by the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He served on the Steering Committee for the pilot project on Nova Scotia’s Personal Health Record and currently acts as a consultant for My health NS.
