Steven Clendenen MD

Dr. Steven R. Clendenen is a Professor of Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic Florida and a member of the Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine Service. His research interests include many aspects of ultrasound, spine imaging with treatment of pseudomeningocele following spine surgery, infrapatellar nerve entrapment following total knee arthroplasty, 3-D ultrasound, and ultra-high frequency ultrasound. He is conducting a research project exploring the genetic explanation of local anesthesia resistance. He has authored several papers and book chapters and is a busy reviewer for several anesthesia journals. He is an invited guest lecturer around the world on Regional Anesthesia, Acute Surgical Pain Management, and ultrasound-guided blocks.
