Steven P. Stanos, DO, currently serves as Executive Medical Director of Rehabilitation and Performance Medicine (RPM) for Providence Swedish Health System in Seattle, WA. In addition to this executive medical role, Dr. Stanos serves as the Medical Director of Swedish Pain Services. The system’s comprehensive pain center provides interventional pain management, medical management, addiction treatment, and comprehensive functional restoration programming for patients with chronic pain. Functional restoration programs integrate physical and occupational therapy, behavioral health, movement-based therapies, and pain education.
At Providence Swedish, he also leads RPM, the sports medicine, medical spine, pain medicine, and bone health service line. RPM additionally provides sports medicine and medical care to the Seattle Sounders FC (MLS), Seattle Storm (WNBA), and Seattle University Athletics.
