Dr. Steven Kodros is a Board Certified orthopaedic surgeon with areas of special interest in foot and ankle reconstruction, total ankle replacement, fracture care, diabetic foot problems, deformities of the foot and ankle, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal trauma. He is on staff at NorthShore University HealthSystem, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Lutheran General Hospital, and River North Same Day Surgery Center.

He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and Adjunct faculty at Northwestern's Prosthetic-Orthotic Center.

His research findings have been presented nationally and have led to the development and wide use of the Kodros Radiolucent Awl. Dr. Kodros has authored numerous publications, is a frequent instructor for courses pertaining to foot and ankle care, and serves as a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the National Board of Medical Examiners. Dr. Kodros serves as the Illinois State representative to the American Association of Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College Of Medicine, and completed his residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he served as Chief Resident. Additionally, Dr. Kodros completed a fellowship in Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine.
