Steven E. Kahn MB, ChB

Dr. Steven Kahn, M.D., Ch.B., is a board-certified physician and the UW’s Leonard L. Wright & Marjorie C. Wright Term Chair of Medicine and a UW professor of Medicine and Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition. Dr. Kahn strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Kahn earned his M.D. at the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He is board-certified in both Metabolism & Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. Dr. Kahn's research focuses on the assessment of islet function and insulin action in states of normal and abnormal carbohydrate metabolism.
