Steve Humphries PhD, MRCP, FRCPath

Steve's interests over the last 20 years have been the use of genetic tools to explore the pathophysiology of cardiovascular disease and also to develop DNA-based tests for risk of CHD. He heads a group of over 30 clinicians and scientists at UCL and is the British Heart Foundation Professor of Cardiovascular Genetics. Professor Humphries also serves on several government committees overseeing the use of genetic testing in the UK.
