Stephen James Goodyear MBChB, MD, FRCS

Stephen was appointed as a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon in 2014 with his NHS practice based at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. He is currently the division director for vascular surgery and major trauma within the trust, serving as a member of the Birmingham, Black Country, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire Trauma Network Board.

Following his primary medical qualification at the University of Leicester (2001), he has trained in general, vascular, and endovascular surgery across the Midlands, with his specialist training within the West Midlands Deanery. He has supported his training by completing a Doctorate of Medicine by Research (MD) at the University of Warwick (2009) alongside a PGA in Medical Education (2007). As a senior registrar, he completed the Medtronic endovascular university course and was the national representative for vascular registrars at the Council of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland (2013-2015).
