Stephen S. Rich MS, PhD

Stephen S. Rich is a Professor of Public Health Sciences at the University of Virginia. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Science at Purdue University. Dr. Rich’s research is centered on understanding the genetic epidemiology of complex human diseases, including the genes contributing to type 1 diabetes and its complications, atherosclerosis, stroke, and their intermediate phenotypes (risk factors).
