Steve is the Director of Compliance Coding, Billing and Audit for Partners HealthCare System, which is the corporate organization founded by Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital here in Boston. Steve's team is responsible for evaluating potential documentation, coding and billing risks across all of the PHS entities through data mining, medical record review and other ongoing risk assessment activities. In 2013, Steve's team began developing a continuous data monitoring program to identify higher risks areas warranting further review and evaluation which has yielded significant results and remains the backbone of their program.
