Stephanie Petrone BS

Stephanie Petrone is currently the Executive Director of Medical Operations for US Clinical Development & Medical Affairs at Novartis Oncology and has over 17 years of experience in clinical trial research and management. In her current role she is responsible for clinical trial operational support including: contracting & outsourcing, informed consent, data management, data systems, drug supply, finance, quality, compliance, and clinical trial innovation.

She also collaborates with the Scientific Field Operations, and Global Development to execute global trials in the US. Stephanie was part of the team that built the US Medical Affairs Trial program at Novartis Oncology.

Stephanie joined Novartis in 2001 from AstraZeneca where she developed, implemented and managed clinical trial programs in oncology and pediatric asthma. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she spent 5 years at a private Medical Laboratory in various positions supporting their medical laboratory testing business. Stephanie has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology from the University of Delaware and is ASCP certified as an MT, specializing in Microbiology and Blood Banking.
