Stephane Simon DDS, DCD, MPHIL, PHD, DSC

Stephane R. J Simon moved to a scientific and academic part-time career after 15 years of private practice in endodontics for 8 years. In 2009, after two years spent abroad at the University of Birmingham (UK) where he completed his PhD, he joined the Paris Diderot University as a senior lecturer and was then nominated as a Professor in Endodontics in September 2016. He ran a clinical practice at the Pitie Salpetriere Hospital between 2099 and 2017, he joined the dental department of the Rouen’s Hospital (Normandy) on 1 September 2017.

Simon is the director of the European Postgraduate program in Endodontology (Paris Diderot University) (www.due-garanciere.fr), his professional practice is now a mix of Research and Teaching (Clinical and Fundamental) and a clinical practice specialized in endodontics (50/50). He is also a founding member of Endo-Academie, a training structure in endodontics based on E-learning and innovative teaching methods (www.endo-academie.fr).
