Stephane Besancon DU

Stéphane Besançon is a biologist and nutritionist with specialized degrees in nutritional physiopathology and international development. He founded the international NGO Santé Diabète, became the Programme Director in 2003 and the CEO in 2009. ONG Santé Diabète (SD) has set up numerous pilot schemes for the prevention and management of diabetes in Africa. Besancon’s work on health systems, chronic diseases, nutrition and diabetes in Africa has featured in many publications.
