Stelios Loukides MD, FCCP

Stelios Loukides born in Thessaloniki at 1963. He finished medical school on 1987. After 5 years training he took my specialty degree on 1994. He did a post-doctoral fellowship from 1996 to 1998 at Royal Brompton Hospital, National Heart & Lung institute under the supervision of Prof PJ Barnes. From 1998 to 2005 He worked at the National Health system at Veterans Hospital Department of Respiratory Medicine. At 2005 he was elected as lecturer at the University of Athens Respiratory Medicine Dept. From that time He is working at the 2nd Respiratory Medicine Dept, Attiko University Hospital both as an academic and as a clinician. Ατ 2010 he was elected as an Assistant Professor at the University of Athens Respiratory Medicine Dept. His main research and clinical interests are Asthma & COPD, particularly inflammatory mechanisms obtained from non invasive techniques.
