Dr. med. Steffen Koschmieder is a University Professor of translational hematology and oncology at the RWTH Aachen Faculty of Medicine. He is also the head of hemostaseology and the consulting senior physician for research conducted in the Department of Hematology, Oncology, Hemostaseology, and Stem Cell Transplantation at University Hospital Aachen. His key research areas are myeloproliferative neoplasms, MPN, leukemic stem cells, targeted tumor therapy, and complex clotting illnesses.
