Stefano Perlini MD, PhD

Stefano Perlini served as Cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology of the IRCCS "Ospedale Maggiore di Milano" from 1991 to 1998, Assistant Professor from 1998 to 2001 and he is currently Associate Professor at the University of Pavia, Department of Internal Medicine.
Since 2001 he is Consultant Cardiologist of the Center for the Study of Systemic Amyloidoses of the IRCCS San Matteo Foundation, University of Pavia. He is also Head of the Metabolism and Cellular Pathology Laboratory of the Internal Medicine Department. His research training included several experiences overseas (summer 1985: Cardiac Department, Brompton Hospital, London, UK; 1990-1991: Department of Cardiovascular Medicine and Nuffield Department of Anaesthesioloy, University of Oxford, UK; 1995-1996: Research Fellow, Department of Cardiology, University of Massachusetts Medical Center, Worcester, MA, USA).
