Stefano Espinoza PhD

Stefano Espinoza graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology in 2004 at University of Genoa. During his thesis he worked on the characterization of the different isoforms of phsphodiesterases in the rat brain using intracerebral microdialysis. From 2005 to 2008 he worked for Rottapharm S.p.A. in the laboratory of Neuropharmacology, concerning antipsychotic, antiparkinson and analgesic compounds. In 2008 he joined the IIT continuing his PhD program. His main project is about the physiological and pathological role of Trace Amine Associate Receptors (TAARs).
