Professor Stefan Marciniak is Professor of Respiratory Science and a Principal Investigator at the Cambridge Institute for Medical Research (CIMR) where his lab studies the role of endoplasmic reticulum stress in disease. In addition, he is an Honorary Consultant Respiratory Physician at Addenbrooke’s Hospital with a clinical sub-specialty interest in pleural medicine including the genetics of pneumothorax
