Dr. Stacey Mills was born in Hampton, Virginia in 1951. He attended the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA, receiving a B.S. in 1973. Mills matriculated to the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA, and was awarded his M.D. in 1977. Thereafter, he completed residency training in anatomic pathology and a fellowship in surgical pathology at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Dr. Mills has broad expertise in anatomic pathology, but his special interests include diseases of the breast, head & neck, bones, gynecological tract, and urogenital system.He was also Editor-in-Chief of Modern Pathology from 1995 to 2000, and has memberships on the editorial boards of 8 other pathology journals.
