Srini Sridharan PhD

Srini Sridharan has over 20 years of experience in the area of drug delivery and combination products in a variety of roles from R&D to Business Development. He has developed and launched numerous products worldwide ranging from coronary catheters, drug eluting stents, glucose sensors, insulin delivery devices, pre-filled syringes, pens and auto-injectors. His knowledge spans all aspects of product development, from requirements gathering, product design and development, design for manufacturing, regulatory and quality requirements and interactions with Health Authorities.

He is a Chemical Engineer by training, with a Bachelors from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India and MS and PhD from Georgia Tech, Atlanta, GA. He started his career as an engineer at Guidant Corporation before moving to Becton-Dickinson and is currently the Head of Materials Science and Engineering at Bristol-Myers Squibb. He has over 20 patents to his name and has been bringing his passion for patient centricity in product development to light in numerous conferences.
