Srikanth N. Divi, MD, is a spine surgeon with a passion for providing the best clinical care for patients and serving the needs of the Chicago community. He is fortunate to work at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, a top-10 hospital in the country, where he can collaborate and engage with other top physicians to take on each patient’s unique and complex medical problems to individualize care. He values minimally invasive approaches and employs cutting-edge technology when feasible.
His path to academic medicine started early in his training, with a strong interest in basic science and clinical research that has led to over 75 peer-reviewed publications, numerous presentations, and two grants. His current research focus is to improve outcomes for patients with spinal disorders using predictive analytics and big data. He believes his background in biomedical engineering brings a pragmatic and multidisciplinary approach to tackling complex spinal problems. In addition, he has had the fortune to study and train under global leaders at top-notch institutions, including the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, the University of Chicago Medical Center for Orthopaedic Surgery, and the world-renowned Rothman Institute/Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for Spine Surgery.
