Sophie Leboulleux MD, PhD

Dr. Sophie Leboulleux, MD, Ph.D. specialized in nuclear medicine, endocrinology, and oncology, Dr. Sophie Leboulleux was head of the nuclear medicine department in the Medical Imaging Department of Gustave Roussy until 2021.

Dr. Leboulleux is the principal investigator and co-investigator of numerous clinical trials. Her clinical research focuses on localized and metastatic thyroid cancers and also on malignant endocrine and adrenal tumors.

She initiated the “Thyroid nodule in one-day reception”, a half-day course offered to patients with thyroid nodules with the aim of quickly diagnosing cancer. Established in 2008 at Gustave Roussy, this treatment now receives more than 750 patients per year. Sophie Leboulleux is the author and co-author of nearly 200 peer-reviewed scientific publications.
