Sophia Richman, Ph.D., ABPP is a psychologist licensed in New York and in New Jersey. She holds a Diplomate in Psychoanalysis from the American Board of Professional Psychology. In addition to her private practice, Dr. Richman is a Supervisor/Clinical Consultant at the New York University Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Center for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New Jersey and a faculty member of the Stephen A. Mitchell Center for Relational Studies. Dr. Richman is the author of A Wolf in the Attic: The Legacy of a Hidden Child of the Holocaust (Routledge, 2002), winner of the 2003 Award for Scholarship from the Jewish Women’s Caucus of the Association for Women in Psychology and Mended by the Muse: Creative Transformations of Trauma (Routledge, 2014).
