Soon-phaik Chee MBBS, MMed(Ophth), FRCS(G), FRCS(Ed), FRCOphth

Professor Chee Soon Phaik is a Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Duke-NUS Medical School. She is a Senior Consultant of both the Cataract & Comprehensive Ophthalmology Department and the Ocular Inflammation & Immunology Department at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC).

In addition to her clinical commitments, Professor Chee also serves as a group lead member of the Cataract research team at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI). She obtained her Master of Medicine (Ophthalmology) at the NUS and was admitted as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow and Edinburgh and the College of Ophthalmologists, UK. She subsequently completed her fellowship in Uveitis and Oculoplastics, Lacrimal and Orbital Surgery at Moorfield's Eye Hospital, London in 1993.
